I have AdBlock add-on on my Firefox too. It can block the ad.

Question is why uBlock origin failed in lowyat forum.

I have 2 but 1 is disabled. Hence, I'm testing the effectiveness of ad blocking add-on.
I feel that AdBlock slows down the Firefox more than uBlock.
I've been using ublock on Android Firefox for a long time. I use AdBlock on PC platform. I just checked the add-on update. It was updated a few days ago. Perhaps it skips something this time?
So just wanna ask the public experience.

Uninstall and install uBlock, which I've done previously before.
That's why I say it's weird.

My firefox addons ublock origin can't block certain pop-ups windows. Just now I was directed to a link. It open in a new tab, and I have click quite fast in order to close the tab.

I even add the link to hosts file and direct it to 127.0.0.1, but still can't block it.

Can anybody advise how to block annoying link like this ?
