Hello, does anyone have experience or know anyone who has been married overseas, especially in EU countries / marrying EU citizen?
Would like to get some advice or opinion on how to proceed on registering my overseas marriage in Malaysia.

What happens if I denounce my Malaysian citizenship, and wants to come back to Malaysia to visit sometimes?

The marriage isn't happening soon, maybe after a year and few more months, but I would like some input from anyone who has been in this kind of situation before.

Any advice is much appreciated.

for starters, have you log on to the European's embassy website? which country is your partner from? suppose if your future husband-to-be is from overseas, then you should at least find some info about process of registration/legalization of documents/necessary preparations that needs to be done in order to denounce etc..., based on that website.

if lack the information that you're looking for, then can just directly email your inquiries to the available channel via that embassy's webpage..
