Ya, just like real life, defender won't keep tackling, they just keep jockey and wait for the opportunity. Normally I just press X for auto jockey, follow the attacker when they on the sprint. When they slow down and try to get pass you then only you start manual jockey and time the tackle when they are close in, otherwise just keep jockey and keep some distance.

So far, i enjoying the whole new system, especially AI defender wont stick on you when you got the ball on the run toward them on counter attack. They will keep backing up and contain the pitch like real life! Except the goalkeeping. Its really poor AI scripting for goalkeeping.

For those who facing unable to unlock transfer market on web/companion app.

I suggest you guys play more online games instead of single player (squad battles/single player division)

For online, try to play online seasons, start from div 10 promote to div 8 at least..or maybe play some DKT games..

Reason is that you need to play online so that your club able to sync with EA server then you're able to unlock...

I faced this issue also, after play more online games, it's fine..

Guys, everyday the squad battle opponents refresh 24 hours . But i noticed it refreshes more regularly last Sunday.

Anyone knows the exact timing ? Is it on Saturday too ?

If I'm not mistaken, on weekends, there will be two updates. Only weekdays, one per day.

why are most of you playing squad battles? is it any good? i see no online mode there.
so far, i'm just playing fut seasons online. Cant tahan play offline, fall asleep

I play squad battles first to warm up, then I play online season.

Surprisingly, the AI is actually quite good this year.

If you're leading the game, at the end of the game you can feel their pushing high up and chasing the ball more often.

If you're chasing the game, they will not wasting/pass around the ball like past year...at least from my experience

because of the coins and pack that we can earn and also they are not easy to beat ... haha
