Where do people still getting ideas where signing up postpaid still subjected to contract bonding if not bundled with device (other that RedOne)? I'm pretty sure the FAQ stated that this plan doesn't come with contract bonding.

You do know prepaid SIM cost around RM10 right? You could always buy one and do adequate testing before committing.

U Mobile had 3G sharing agreement with Maxis but ending end of this year. 2G sharing will last for a foreseeable future and U Mobile had their own 4G LTE network.

3G sharing is only for certain cities. In some cities like Klang Valley, they are using their own equipment.

Malaysia are performing quite well considering with the relatively restrictive legislation regarding the tower emission and location limitation compare to Thailand. Service provider in Thailand doesn't have as much barrier as in Malaysia regarding setting up towers and also for the "fast speed" you are referring to is only for AIS since thay are using LTE-U band. Others are still slow.

Where do you get the idea of phone sold via carriers in Malaysia are locked. Other than the known Maxis Zerolution where your IMEI is blacklisted if you defaulted on the payment, they is no sorts of locking.

This plan can only be used on a smartphone. The internet speed widely depends on the tower connected to. Yes it is truly unlimited but you only have 30GB for tethering usage.

I love how people always blame the mall when the service provider is responsible to set up indoor booster. Indoor booster had to be set up by service providers and a medium sized mall could cost around a million to install it. Recently, service provider are more cautious with their spending since the investment is substantial and there's no guarantee the mall will attract a huge crowd which translates into invested equipment serving adequate people to even break even.

You can carry up to RM100 credit if you switch to postpaid. So it's wise to spend the RM300 by credit transfer and use it for carrier billing.

That means they did not set up any indoor mobile signal booster

If you could settle with 3G, then it's good enough. The 4G coverage is poor over there.

It could only be used on a smartphone or tablet. It won't work on modem.

Small coverage for 4G. 3G coverage isn't really good either and congested in areas with higher population without 4G coverage only 2G is fully riding on Maxis network.

Where did you get the idea of contract bonding? Other than RedONE no one else tied their customer for plans without device bundle.
