If you phone could be registered on a local network Telco there, means your roaming is activated That is why you could receive your TACs. If roaming is not activated, you will get No Network or Emergency Calls on display on your phone.

Coverage is still so so. Network reliability is intermittent. If you depend on only one line for all your network needs, I would suggest no go.
