Wait wait. Is this Emerald 9 the YouCity master plan but x jadi now?
So YouPlace and YouFestivalWalk that land being sold to Guocoland to develop this Emerald 9?

Being close to MRT/LRT is the unique selling point.
Got direct connection link bridge to MRT/LRT such as EkoCheras / Aster / Parkland, then that is a higher unique selling point. But how close to the station doesn't really matter as long as it is walkable by the resident profile staying there. For low cost flat / apartment residents, they wont mind walking 1km daily to and fro to the station. But for expat paying higher rental staying at condo, then probably 500 meter is max suitable distance.

Being walkable to MRT/LRT station matter. Coz if it is too far, then defeat the purpose, residents not willing to walk. If need to drive / take bus / take Grab, then got so many other choice of places to stay out there.

Worse is to be neither here nor there. In the middle. Not close enough to be considered acceptable walking distance to the station. Emerald 9 currently is in such situation, especially if without a covered walkway.

Is a link bridge to the MRT station? I doubt at more than 400 meter away distance such bridge is possible.

Guess is just "feel good term" used to promote.
Link bridge nicer to hear compare to covered walkway.
Just like Kenwingston Avenue at Sg Besi, all using the term "direct link" to MRT station to sell. But in actual fact is nothing but just a propose bridge to cross the main road to the opposite side. From there onwards, still is a long walk unshelthered + uphill to the future MRT2 station.

At a cheaper PSF pricing got other projects along the MRT line, all closer to the MRT station, realistically better scoring in term of walkable distance. Rather than hoping for a 400 meter covered walkway here:
1. Aster Residence (real direct link to MRT station)
2. Parkland Residence, B11 (real direct link to MRT station)
3. Netizen, (located next to MRT park and ride facility)

Just suggestion since you are a heavy MRT user.

In my opinion, car is a liability especially if under utilized.
If one take LRT/MRT to commute daily, then dont waste by having a car. Some even got a big car keep for long distance holiday usage only. Is not necessary to have nowadays. Just the mindset, is hard to change. As car = wealth. No car then ppl will look down upon you. Got car mean you are financially stable those kind of thing.

But reality in Klang Valley today. Too many cars. Not enough parking. tongue.gif

Nowadays, already got Grabcar and all those ehailing apps.
For long distance travel, now even got socar and gocar to use. Socar got 7 seater MPV now which is good enough to bring whole family to travel.
If really do calculation, one can save up money by not owning a car, especially heavy public transport user like LTG.

2 different developer. Or also known as "competitor".
And I heard the initial proposed link bridge from YouVista direct to YouCity 3 was scrapped off now. Is in the original master plan but now no longer in plan. They omit out. That's OSK. A well known developer for cheating and doing those kind of unfulfilled promise.

This is the master plan when You Vista launching.
And now this link bridge no longer in plan.
So can sue the developer or not? They will say picture is for illustration purpose only. Not legally binding.

Is a 100% fully covered link bridge or just a covered walkway?

Is non comparable. Trion is located not within the same area. That is in KL with no LRT/MRT walking distance, not to say direct connection.

Dotted line meaning the wall is not there. Is up to your creativity to partition and re-design the layout. Additional cost involved of course.
Well, coz is the trend actually since people actually now promoting number of rooms, not the unit size.
2 rooms unit at 400k with MRT connectivity, where to find.

Here an example of a project layout, new launch as well. Initial layout is not according to the current trend. So developer need to add in dotted line to the layout to turn it into 2 bedroom unit and promote. In order not to lose out to this new trend. Remember: 2 rooms unit at 400k. That's the key.

Same distance at least, 450 meter. Direct link meaning from the project until the MRT station is directly connected, more or less like EkoCheras.

Not sure how much the cost to build such long link bridge. Which i doubt will happen.

Should say station. Not MRT train. Coz E9 also nearby to the MRT track.
So if station emit out radiation, negative point for UC3. Better to stay further away from the station.
