Very subjective for city driving. Its kind of safe to assuming 15~18 sen per km.
If you are driving on high way, smooth flow, could be lower, @ 11~13 sen km.
1.8cc car or above will be more.

Very subjective.
1. Depends on the type of car.
2. Car weight, number of people in the car
3. Is the car serviced
4. Time of day
5. City or highway driving
6.

Hear those car companies, usually, use a very skinny test driver, with minimal car weight and test drive during very cold hours of the day to get their optimum fuel consumption figures. So, Fuel consumption figures in the car brochures only look good but might not be so accurate in real life.

To get an accurate fuel consumption figure, you should download an app like Fuel Buddy.

As general,
2L engine 20cents
1.8L engine 16-18cents

New car heavier, use more fuel. but modern engine fuel efficiency better

Old car lighter, but engine fuel efficiency not as good

Mine 18cents / km based on current petrol 95 price

When fuel cheaper it does go lower but max also 15cents /km

Minimal impact lol...

Gotta count km/l first, then only do conversion because petrol prices change weekly

I know this thread is old, but I just want to share my experience.

Jazz GD 2005
Driving attitude: 'Right lane'

Daily travel home to work
= 40km ** Twice a day ** 5 days weekday + ~1 day weekend jalan jalan
= 40km*2 times*6 days
= 480km weekly travel

Weekly refuel = ~RM75 (I only refuel when empty and always refuel full tank)

Cost per km = RM75/480km = 15.6cent per km

The other thing I want to share is that I don't find driving fast or frequently braking really make any difference.

12-16 cents, it’s function of body weight. Mayvi is good.
