I have 3 bay NAS install with 2TB HDD and my HDD temp goes over 37c - 43c. It is normal, will the temperature will shortage my HDD lifespan?

seems normal. HDD rarely go 50C unless constant heavy writing and stuffed in a place where no airflow.

HDD threshold is about 55C . Long way to go before you hit that temperature. Besides that, if you prefer cooler temp, you can just increase your NAS fan speed. For Synology NAS, you can select different fan profile.
