Used gas stove previously when living with parents. Now new house using electric stove. Maggi mee and my boiled water come out all right. Steak also came out all right. All sorts of food ...curry, stew, bihun thng, porridge, fried rice, Scramble eggs also came out all right. Dunno issit my old gas stove is lacking on the features but for electric stove you can set timer on when it will stop the heat. You can put on heat mode to keep food hot. You can use the presets to boil water and leave it there, it will switch off when the water is done. Never go to calculate the running cost though. No electricty ....no need cook la. No need to remove parts to clean...it has a flat surface ...just use sponge and cloth to wipe off any food residue.

Me and my wife in the house aircond (inverter) switched on min 8 hrs a day. Electricity bill RM50 to RM 60 monthly. Weekends we are normally chilling at home as well.
Not sure is the led lighting and newer energy saving electricals(3 years old tech fridge, washing machine, dryer, microwave, ) the contributor to low electricity consumption.

Uncle, ask you if I have a bunch of t5s and t8s with normal tube bulbs...wanna convert to led can ah ? need change what?
