last night my friend in US bought me a 12 month live prepaid card and i try to reload !  ITS work !!  now my memberships level is "Current Membership: Xbox Live Prepaid 12 + 1 Month Gold Membership Card." so i will see u guys on live for whole year . thanks for all help and info bro . trick : i redeem the prepaid code through xbox.com with my PC, i think if redeem the code on console itself , might not work . not sure  |

It's very misleading when you register as a United States residence... the U.S. counterpart can check on your ID or some of the players overseas will check you up... they may even revoke your membership...
SO BE CAREFUL...

To be on the safe side, just register your gold using Singapore address. You'll loose out on content though.
To counter that, create another one for the US, so that you can still access US contents. However, some are only available for Gold.
