i bought xbox 360 3months ago and i jus bought 3month prepaid card to top up live GOLD!!

Yesterday my friends bought a new xbox360, but when he first time register gamertag , he didnt get any trial for live gold memberships like me do 3month ago..

Why ? it is now microsoft didnt offer the trial anymore or any things wrong wif my friend console ? unmodded leh !!

first thing.. Unmodded console or moded console doesn't have anything to do with the Xbox live gold subscription.

second, did you register under xbox 360 machine ? not in xbox.com?

yeah , i help my friends register at xbox 360 console when the time he create gametag.

wait wait... you help your fren register .. so which means are you helping him sign up a hotmail account ? or xboxlive account (emails accounts that is)

and 2nd.. did you put singapore address?

3rd... did you just choose keep silver account for the first time?

1. I help him register at his xbox console , using a new email address (hotmail)
2. I put US address in xbox live account and also in email account
3. i didnt have other choice beside keep silver
(at first its ask select memberships, i choose silver since there is no trial memberships option , than when its ask me wish to select other , i didnt have other option beside keep silver

i remember when i first time register with my own xbox 3 month ago, its have a option of 1month trial , now i do same as 3 month ago , i cant do it !!

my friends say i BLUFF him

hm.. maybe something wrong happen in the 3rd step? cause until now all customer/consumer who purchase thier xbox 360 via me have no problems signing up
sometimes I even help them create one..

erm, i will ask him try again , is there any possible someone use his console to register live memberships b4 he bought it ?so now he cant register trial memberships...

nope, that cannot be. The Xbox 360 machine allow to register 5 xbox live accounts.. so I doubt it could be "someone" who use it.

make sure u using validate postal code
last time happen to me

if i am not mistaken for a new registration at xbox live under silver account will automatically giving you 1 free gold. just proceed with the silver account registration and after that you'll get the free 1 month gold.

that happened to me when i registered in late january 2007. its just a little after 2 months, i really doubt they change the format.

hmmm Hikaru helped me to reg... i'm not sure though..
but i remember got something like saying gold trial not...
i remember he choose something for activating it... Hmm...

i bought the 360 bout a month ago and i registered my gametag through the console 2 weeks ago..But i able to get the trial..But i forgotten which selection i choose...Try again and c hw it goes..

Yup. Only Premium / Elite comes with 1 - month free Gold Membership.

I just register last week, luckyly i still have free 1 month trial gold member.

ask your friend try login to Xbox.com
then go to Managa Profile -> Modify Membership, should be a option for one month trial.

i had 1 question .. is there any 12 month reload card for gold available at market ?? i saw ppl selling on ebay but they say only support for new account ! (means cant support reload for existing account) my 3 month memberships gonna expired ! wanted to reload 12 month !!...but i dont clear about it
