I did some "reduction" and downscaling from the original file which was snapped at 12megapixel resolution because the file was damn BIG. Worried big file kenot upload to LYN. Btw, is there a filesize limitation for upload?

Decided on the Yammy soundbar because I wanted a neat and simple setup. Just too bad my BD60 shows up as "DVD" when playing. I have yet to push the volume beyond "50" as there is a young baby at one of my neighbour's...maybe when he/she is older then, BLAST lor

Hey, you're not alone. I have no astro at home too. The only good thing astro provide me is live football, but since I can stream live football on the internet, which is way faster than the "few-minutes-delayed" astro live football, there no need for astro anymore.

hahaha.....we share about the same thoughts. The only reason for me getting it would be for the sports, which I will probably only get to watch during weekends. Kinda silly to have to pay the extortion-rate subscriptions for just that sweat.gif

Next project for my HT is to add a good media player and a Synology NAS box. Still undecided on whether to go for a single bay or bite the bullet for a 2-bay. 1.5Tb HDD would be the way to go

What did you use to raise up the TV to accomodate the soundbar?

What discs hiding under the white lacey cloth underneath yr BDs? .....  hmm.gif

I am using 2 pieces of birch effect LACK Wall Shelves from IKEA, glued together thumbup.gif

Those discs are DVDs from yesteryear...mixture of uncle ho whistling.gif & ori

Will reorganise those shelves when Project Media Player & NAS kicks off icon_idea.gif

go to IKEA and get the LACK shelf unit. Besides birch effect, I believe it comes in the following colors too: black, black-brown, white and red. The dimensions are depth 26cm, thickness 5cm while lenght comes in 2 sizes, 110cm and 190cm. http://www.ikea.com.my/catalog/catalog_dis...asp?b=2&r=2&p=6

This picture definitely got problem liao. Either the room is too small or the speakers too big blink.gif IMHO, solving the former would be the better option i.e. get a bigger room.

Current house don't have bigger room? no problem....just get a bigger house then whistling.gif

*
hmmm....considering there's a lot of space to cover between your center speaker and the TV, I take it that you put the unit on a box because you don't want the sound to resonate/reverberate through the AV rack. If this is so, you could consider using stillpoints http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=Atta...=post&id=398688
