Can buy online ... closest dealer in S'pore.. But i got no idea about ...high-gain/low gain ....gain wat?? Better stick with my grey wall...heh QUOTE(psp _BOY @ May 9 2008, 12:47 PM) Can get here is it? This post has been edited by jlim78: May 9 2008, 12:56 PMFrom my experience, painted Blackout looks better than screen, but now with a proper screen my pictures pop out with more colour accuracy than before. |

Conclusion: You can eat your maggie while watching your favorite movies with dim lights..no MORE SPILLS!
![]() QUOTE(psp _BOY @ May 9 2008, 02:24 PM) Grey screens are slightly better than white material, Gray screens are often called high contrast screens because can boost contrast in rooms which aren't completely dark, like with ambient light. The gray screen absorbs ambient light that is around better than a white screen does. Doing this, the black level on the screen is maintained. This post has been edited by jlim78: May 9 2008, 03:07 PMSmX sells a grey screen with 0.9 gain, it's picture quality is slightly better than mine, if you can sacrifice screen size, but if u have a bright projector, that's the better of the 2. I personally just take the 1.16 gain because I feel it would be needed if one day my projector turns half-brightness. Even if I'm getting a light cannon (Sim2, Digital Projection) You can always appreciate the extra brightness, since these high-end projector already pack mean contrast and punch needed. |

More shots of my current noob HT setup.
Running at 1080i via components (Cos' no HDCP) & optical ...too bad its just a HTIB w/o DTS-HD All the wires I hide'em in the casing and run it all the way to the back cupboard... I got 10m length HDMI-->DVI cable to let go (Bought them mistakely) Its the rear surround speakers should be place at ear level?? Some said it should be place at least 2ft above ear level .. One more thing ...i found that 1080i are crispier than 720p...(in my setup lar)
But as i know .. 720p should be a class above 1080i .. |

Thanks. I suppost to hack those wall & buried them and ..runs it over plaster ceiling....but then ..when thinkin of future upgrades...its easier to just hide'em in the casing..but the casing (2")hard to close sometimes..cos' i'm running components & 2 16gauge wires in it..
