from what i know , grey screen produce better contrast - probably right. use mostly in ambient light room.

if watching movie- some like to have white colour due to crisp colour as per 35mm film. there's also a talk about reflective and superwash which i dont understand about it in AVS forum. this has something to do with light emission when refelected on the screen.

the gain measurement also very important. i still need to read more.

went to P&L to test Velodyne 12 yesterday, the bass is pretty good no doubt about it.

Plan to try other cheap range soon.

Bro, your new room is bigger than previous one, right? Eddie came and did it already?

The SPL meter is still with my friend. Probably going to your pad next week.

Very nice, very nice...I would love to have something like that...but errr...I think the TV is a bit on the high side...sure no neck pains?
*
actually some people prefer to be high if they lying low with neck rest on the sofa. But always have the benchmark of 3 to 4m benchmark from the bottom .

the only set back is the TV not properly center in between the wall so it looks a bit heavier on the other side. Why not center?
