A big empty frame will look awkward in the living room when the light goes on .. any ideas? anyone?

1. Fix a screen, install curtain trail at the ceiling few inches from the fixed screen. When not using the projector/screen, you can pull the curtain to hide and protect the screen from dust at the same time smile.gif there are many nice looking curtains out there that will add flavour to your living room smile.gif

or secondly, a motorized screen (last choice as rolling up the screen will cause - alun - tongue.gif )

k first off.. THis is NOT my setup.. i just found it online and straight away inspired... this will be my 2 year project.. hopefully done b4 wedding.. hehehe
Cant stop drooling.. basically, this is all possible without me having to break the bank or sell a car.. hahaha includes me having to extend the house / projector / screen / speakers / sound proofing... smile.gif (and yes.. thats an SVS cylinder at the back.. LOL hence the inspiration)

do you have a LCD or plasma of Rear projection tv at the back of the LCD ? if the answer is no, it will be best to fix the screen on the wall n install a curtain infront the the fixed screen. when are not using the screen, you can cover it with the curtain.

F = is a no no because you will be covering the window. Try doing a fixed screen instead of a roll up one and put a curtain infront of the fixed screen. You can cover the fixed screen when not using it.

E, C, D = Where are you planning to place your bed, dressing area and your wardrobe? When fixing a screen, its best to take into everthing consideration. The look, the feel, the functionability.
