Onkyo 805 is higher spec'ed that the Onkyo 806

805- THD rated at .05%, 3 DSP chips, Burr-Brown DAC's, Audyssey MultiEq XT
806- THD rated at .07%, 2 DSP chips, Cirrus Logic DAC's, Audyssey MultiEq

The power ratings are also lower, that being the main reason for the lower weight.

Actually this is nice, except that the screen is too high. For fixed panels (ie, CRT, plasma, LCD), the correct viewing angle from the centre of the screen to the eye should not exceed 15degrees. It is better if it is less than 10degrees from your eye level. It is more comfortable for the eyes to be as level or below eye level (same not more than 15degrees).
