My new Living room is ready. (Wood flooring)
After several asking about the HT setup
i will finalize the setting. but equipment still need suggestion

Since my mom want karaoke Function, i going to let her do that via a Karaoke Mixer (Pioneer MX9)

Mic/Wireless Mic->Mic Mixer
DVD -> Mic Mixer -> TV

TV->Amp
DVD->Amp

I will throw around 3K to Amp+Speaker
At first thinking wireless, however due to several issue i will go with wire

HTiB is more simple then for pick front/rear,center,amp
So will go with YAMAHA HTiB

YAMAHA HTiB DVXS302
or
YAMAHA 4*NS125F+RXV363+YSTFSW100+NSC225 ( i need pricing on this or get better suggestion)
or
......Suggest ?

my company arrange a trip to oversea for several month, so i want this be done urgent due to i dont want someone while i go oversea

my 902i stands are made in Penang. Quite cheap RM250 only. But it's an inch shorter.
I am still trying to get good speaker stands to sell but can't really get the budget type yet. coz if stands cost more than a pair of 902i, then it's not really realistic. I will search further to get stands that are cheap n yet good in quality.

Added on October 23, 2008, 6:06 pmIf you guys want me to get you products from Denon, Marantz, Mordaunt Short, QED, Proac, Vandehul, just PM me for best price. But give me the price you guys survey first. So, I can try to price beat them.

yes rega apollo and rega brio3 ..still trying to run the mezzo 2 in before i can really judge the performance on the systems.

Added on October 23, 2008, 11:59 pmthinking of getting 50" but then think about it again ...42" is mainly for astro. Better spend the $$ into HD65 or higher range of projector when I get my Denon bluray transport player ~ Denon is still waiting for the format to finalize before launching the bluray transport. Probably will cost around 3.5K ...
so need to allocate another 10K for my projector+screeb and bluray upgrade.

But so far, sound wise, i'm fine with carnival series since mostly running bluray downconvert D9 dvd only.

Not planning to get Pana or Sony BD Player ..waste of money IMHO.

Ha! Ha! Nice setup u got there.
By the way, nice meeting u yesterday and thanks for the ride. Really appreciate it.

You should update your shop picture already tongue.gif as no more Mezzo 5 there. HA! Ha! Ha!

Just bought Mezzo 5 from junwei at his shop. Thumbs up. By the way, ur HT room a bit too small.

Problem is, my house' problem can never be solved. Now got leaking again. Hopefully it won't be big messy repair. Haiz.
My front speaker won't arrive until next month and my surround speakers also not so soon.

Will surely post my setup pic here when complete...

Why are u claiming the Panny and Sony BD player a waste of money ? Are they poor in the PQ ?
I thought the Panny BD30 rated highly. Somemore it is now selling RM1.9 plus 5 BD to choose.

Any comment?

oh ~ how much Mezzo 6 selling there?
How come your house leaking? Sue the contractor n get some money to pay for your systems tongue.gif hehehe.

------------
mikapoh ~ I never wanna get consumer brands player especially Sony. Panny is still ok lah if no choice. If got choice, I will always go for better stuff from the hifi brands.

Sony ~ had many complaints from customers oredi .service is poor n expensive .. panny so far not much complaints ...but gotto really try out the panny BD Player before u buy ..dun based on review ..see for urself n make sure u can test it out with your LCD or plasma or projector .see the end results ...

I tried it once at a customer's house using panny HDMI player on his full hd lcd by phillips ..the output is terrible ...so use back the old dvd player running component n it's so much better.....

so always test before u buy.
