Hmmm.. Try to explain a bit more to you.
The low frequencies tend to build up more at those corners and resonate to the whole room.

This will cause uncontrolled bass.
*
Tq. You understand perfectly my purpose of doing that rclxms.gif

I stand there just to listen if the foam has any effect or not and it does. So it helps the overall acoustic of that room. I guess i can hug the foam roll at my sitting place if I want to reduce the bass there tongue.gif

I think fabric curtain are not thick enough for corners.
Try to do something like arremie said.
Roll up a piece of the foam like a tube and place it at corners.
If dont want to roll, then just let it stand and cover the corner.

Later I post up pictures when I go back home. U can roll up any foam from packing material. The thicker the foam the better. The one I use meant for acoustic treatment.

Example of packing foam material is like this one my friend use as back support tongue.gif laugh.gif

Fuhyoh.. what a design... laugh.gif
Your friend needs such a thick absorption panel for his back..

By the way, if possible, try get those audiophile grade foam.
Must ensure that they do not contain poisonous material.

A misconception by a lot of people. Stick the foam at specific point in your room. Search the net if you wanna know more. If you covered the whole room with foam, the room will sounded lifeless.

If you're interested, I can work something out for you.

Nope I don't think so, anyway I'm not sure how it looks like and made from what material.
I'm only able to get simple absorption foams with eggshell profile cut at the moment, I'm working also on other pattern and on diffusion panels as well.

The first batch that I took in worked very well.

Bro, so there would be 2nd batch of the acoustic foams? Great. A pair is not enough for my room as the 2 pairs were meant for my bro.

I have to fine tune my room. Btw, I am in the midst of sourcing those similar foams that Auralex use. Just chat with the boss about it. I will take my Subdude to show him.

Do let us know if you can find similar to Auralex foam, which is higher density type. The one I found is just the normal type.

How do you fine tune room acoustics? Do you move the panels around and test? This acoustics thing seems like very much trial and error.
