I would like to get a 17'' iMac and have some questions about it.

1. Can I carry it onto an airplane? as a laptop or hand luggage?
2. Does apple give discounts for students?
3. Is Mac OS Leopard easy to use?haha. I think its easier than winxp rite?(when will leopard be released?)
4.Where is the cheapest place to get it in Malaysia?
5. Isit cheaper during PC Fair?

4. There is no cheaper place as far as I know, but if you get it in events like the upcoming PC Fair it may be cheaper(but leopard not out yet at that time)

No, but they do give free Apple wireless keyboard and Epson R250 printer. Both of them cost about RM948. Imagine that.

1. yes..i brought it all the way to russia..lol...as cargo..they won let u hand luggage it..one advice...throw the box...coz during customs..they'll realy screw u ard...asking u to pay for tax...this n that bla bla bla...

4.dunou...but i surveyed ard...n i found out that u can oso get it from other shops that are selling apple products...not apple branch itself...it's cheaper..trust me..apple salesman will just tell u that "oh...we gave u this n that bla bla bla...crap..." u know....to show u y the price is that high...
5.i got imac 17" last june in pc fair oso...if i'm not mistaken..it's was almost 6k..at the apple stall...but when i went ard the corner..i saw another guys oso selling the same thing..authorized...of coz...just tell them u dun wan this n that extras...for me was the extra3 year warranty...n some other softwares..which i can dl anywhr..
he sold it to me-juz the com..imac 17"+it's keyboard+mighty mouse for 4.6k...
y?coz it's pc fair..it's like a bloody pasar!juz haggle ur way thru n minus all the bonus bonus free gift stuff...go for wad u wan...free gifts are already counted for..

2. VRTech in MeganAvanue near KLCC gives 5% discount to student as long as u can show them ur student it... i got mine there...

4.from the ori apple shop although it is a tini bit more expensive but it has a warranty n apple gives u all kinds or frr gives
