East Malaysia maxis one 68 - 15 gb data. Unlimited calls and sms.

Got some restriction. Earlier batch had unlimited internet from 1am - 7am

Used to be 5 gb weekday + 5 gb weekend. But upgraded to 15 gb all day data few days ago after maxis revises maxis one plan across the board

Maxis staffs told me response very good. Many hotlink customers converting to this plan.

But I'm sure digi will fight back

There are restrictions to the plan. If I remember correctly, if the average usage of the phone has been detected to be mainly originating from West Malaysia, the plan will be converted to MaxisOne 98, it's in the Terms and Conditions.

Furthermore, Maxisone 68 cannot be contracted with a phone subsidy plan and the MaxisOne share is not applicable to it.

If it is found that 50% of your time spent using this Mobile Internet package, within a period of 3 consecutive months, is outside of Sabah/Sarawak/Labuan, Maxis reserves the right to accommodate you to the nationwide equivalent plan.

If you are in East Malaysia, by all means go for this plan. The Maxis staffs told me many people switching to this plan.

Meant for Malaysians residing in east Malaysia. If u in west Malaysia , they will convert your plan to maxisone 98 after they see your usage to be against their T&C

Plans with unlimited voice calls are definitely more pricey. It might be seen as a prestige, meaning a person could afford a more expensive plan.

I don't know about you, but I think there is a perception that people who use whatsapp call to call others, are tying to "save" money.... and perception is important in business.

Of course, if you call to chit chat with family and friends with whatasapp, then it's ok. But for work related, I think voice calls are still relevant and important.

It's like people who use prepaid and postpaid - got perception one among business circles. You won't want your customers to know you are using prepaid

Nothing wrong. But you won't want your business prospect to know.

When you are negotiating business deal, your partners won't be impressed if you dressed up in shorts, or carry some cheap watch or cheap phones.

I think this plan is to counter Hotlink Prepaid Flex and Umobile Giler unlimited plans.
