Which software cloning you use ?

EASEUS todo backup for cloning. for converting windows 10 MBR to GPT without data loss, use the build-in tool in windows 10 MBR2GPT.exe

the build in is only for 1 way trip. MBR to GPT.

btw, why u need to go back to old MBR system? Computer older than 8yrs only do not support GPT windows booting. Even then if your computer is 8+yrs old, you only need to use MBR to boot windows 7. Any computer use windows 7 support GPT as secondary storage.

There is no reason to stuck with MBR.

What is your opinion on 860 Evo against the MX500 based SATA SSD? At first, I was torn between these two SSDs, but eventually went with the Samsung's.

Hi,

I'm planning to change my laptop HDD to SSD, in dilemma choosing between this 2 SSD:

KINGSTON UV500 480GB
SANDISK ULTRA 3D 500GB

Both using TLC 3D NAND. Sandisk has higher read/write speed & comes with DRAM but Kingston doesn't.

Hence, my question, does the DRAM really matters? I normally use for some video editing, gaming and normal usage.

usually ssds with dram are better because it provides additional space for controller to do stuff. performance wise, if done right, ssds with dram should do better.

10% means for 480GB is about RM30-40

but SSD is told to be crash further.

So wanna buy parts, i think buy computer parts that seldom drop price for example, Monitor, Speaker, mouse/keyboard, cpu cooler, casing, PSU. those things.
