I tried few software Aomei backupper, Acronis true image, Macrium Reflect but failed…as I suspect is the sata controller driverWindows 10 os recovery has the option to install boot loader. |

I found my adata xpg sx8200 pro use for boot drive or c drive write a lot where it write around 20-40Gb per day ....just for working, surfing and youtube and I did not switch off the pc....
if idling for whole day, it take around 7-10gb....check and monitor everything, no unusual behaviour |

Change download and temporary folder or scratch disk to hard disk. Windows page file will be more active if you dont have enough RAM.if idling for whole day, it take around 7-10gb....check and monitor everything, no unusual behaviour |

QUOTE(Benefon @ Sep 24 2019, 01:51 PM) it depends on many things, including nand type, capacity, optimization techniques, and usage.here is a real world usage example based on my old samsung 840 pro 256gb, a 6-year-old mlc ssd. i use it as a dedicated os drive. its current total host writes is at almost 4.3tb. yes, after 6 years of daily usage, only 4.3tb written. well, say its endurance rating is 150tbw, it's around 3% after 6 years. this means with the same usage, i need 20 years to achieve that 20% of its total tbw. by then, i'm not sure if sata technology still exists. (i'm not sure about its actual endurance rating, but stress tests have shown that it should die after 2.5pb of writes, https://techreport.com/review/27909/the-ssd...heyre-all-dead/ ) |

One more thing, I wanna asking, is it good to partition SSDhere is a real world usage example based on my old samsung 840 pro 256gb, a 6-year-old mlc ssd. i use it as a dedicated os drive. its current total host writes is at almost 4.3tb. yes, after 6 years of daily usage, only 4.3tb written. well, say its endurance rating is 150tbw, it's around 3% after 6 years. this means with the same usage, i need 20 years to achieve that 20% of its total tbw. by then, i'm not sure if sata technology still exists. Cause I had a 2TB ssd , think to create a partition into half. I’m unsure about the ssd healthy. This post has been edited by Benefon: Sep 24 2019, 10:10 PM |

sad thing, installed the sx8200 pro m2 nvme in my hp envy x360, always have bsod twice or thrice a day. Already raised RMA ticket, now waiting the ssd send back to Taiwan.
I guess either my laptop not compatible with this ssd or just my luck faulty ssd. PS: already tried everything check ram, graphic card, reinstall drivers, fresh format, replace with Kingston ssd no issue on Kingston. |
