QUOTE(go626201 @ Jun 19 2019, 01:28 AM) SSD and Ram might raise price again in next few months. Since the sales and production is increasing in last few weeks. And also ryzen 3gen is coming. It would be better to get your SSD and Ram within next month. sound like promotion finish.. price return... i monitor price since last year nov for m.2 nvme... keep decreasing every month

The 2 main platform for SSD used in new laptops nowadays comes in 2 factor 1. SATA - Limited to 600MB/s 2. NVMe - May reach up to 3500MB/s for PCI-e Gen 3

Hi sifus, need some guidance regarding my ssd, hope this is right place to ask. I bought this 860 evo 250gb few months ago, migrated from Crucial M4 128gb. Plugged in to SATA0 port, running at 6gb/s if not mistaken. However the Sequential writing speed quite low (not as adverstised 500mb/s above), and what is the meaning of the red words '31K - BAD'? Am I getting a faulty unit?

QUOTE(perplexedstill @ Jun 25 2019, 05:04 PM) samsung 970 evo plus or samsung 970 pro? how much performance improvement for samsung 970 pro if compare with samsung 970 evo plus? 970 pro can maintain longer write speed. if that's not your expectation, go for 970 evo plus.
