If I had rm160 for a sad and wanted 240 GB size which one should I get? Total SSD noob. Thought it was better buy than 4 GB of ram since price not much difference.

if a system used hdd as os drive, it will be the obvious bottleneck. hdd iops is just not sufficient to provide optimal user experience in terms of today's personal computing.
tested with laptops that came with stock hdd-only configurations, a good amount of ram (16gb), and a decent mobile cpu (i7). after replacing the os drive with a small-sized ssd, everything is improved significantly. |
