QUOTE(devilkid84 @ Jul 11 2020, 08:31 PM) QUOTE(ry8128 @ Jul 11 2020, 08:34 PM) Totally different with what the SA told me. She told me the first block already almost sold out, except for duplex. And the 1291 sqft already sold out. Kpkt data is submitted by developer. Not sure which is true. If s.a is believable, napic overhang is fake news. |

QUOTE(NorAzdanNordin @ Nov 10 2020, 06:11 PM) Actually the quality of Foresta is not THAT bad. Do you realize how much it cost to replace lifts? It's okay la, the only bad thing in Foresta that I saw was the lift, but I heard people say lifts going to be replaced with better ones/fixed/etc. I considered to buy Foresta before, up until I saw that huge telecommunication towers on the hill right next to it..... |

QUOTE(fiecks84 @ Nov 11 2020, 03:52 PM) Talking about Communication Towers, in fact, I do consider this factor prior to making a decision to continue with the purchase. Hence, I take a walk, from Damansara Perdana to Seresta, and this what I get; [attachmentid=10675141] And, I have a chance to go to Level 36 of Foresta, and see how far or in fact, how near are the communication towers to Seresta. And this is what I get; [attachmentid=10675161] [attachmentid=10675152] And, looking at it, yes, it is near, but it is NOT so near to an extend, worrying me. Why I am saying that? is because I see a lot of communication towers build on top of existing condo, facing another condo, within Damansara Perdana... that's for me, even worse. Or in another scenario, we all understand, and all of us can rightly observe, a lot of communication antenna, being erected on top of the existing commercial lots (the shop lots), which merely, less than 50m to the next residential unit, that's again, more worrying. Hence, it doesn't stop me from investing QUOTE(NorAzdanNordin @ Nov 11 2020, 10:56 PM) You should know that those antennas that you see on shop lots/condos/houses are a whole different type of antenna/satellite dish/etc. The transmission tower appears less than 500m away. Those are nothing compared to a full-blown telecommunications tower. There’s been numerous studies and research on the radiation emitted by telecommunications tower, and they’re all scientifically proven. You can just google and you’ll find the results of those research, and they generally point towards the same conclusion - stay within 500m of a telecommunications tower, your risk of cancer increases. There’s even a study that shows the impact of staying within 100m, 200m, 300m, etc within a telecommunication tower - you should google it and it’s very interesting. From that study, there’s actually an acceptable “safe” distance that you can stay from a telecommunication tower, can’t remember what it was, but Foresta seems too near. These full-blown communication towers are made to cover miles and miles of area for cellphone coverage - so you can imagine how much is the radio frequency that is emitted by these type of towers. The dishes/antennas on shop lots are mostly receivers, not emitters - so they do not emit radio waves, but just receives them. Also, you’d need to understand how radiation effects the human body. We have a tolerance limit towards radiation; and although everything around us emits radiation, as long as it’s within the tolerance limit that our body can absorb, then you’ll be fine. A huge problem about that telecommunications tower is that the radiation emitted by that tower can easily blow past what the radiation yearly limit of what a human body can absorb. Couple that with a long-term effect of staying near there.....well....you do the maths. My family has a history of cancer, that’s why I’m avoiding Foresta/seresta. But hey, if you think that the tower is an acceptable risk, it’s a good investment, as there’s not many negative aspect for Foresta/seresta. Good property which is hard to find if you can live with the tower, sadly I can’t, really liked Foresta when I viewed several units there. |
