ABOUT PLAY! A Video Game Symphony
QUOTE
PLAY! A Video Game Symphony
From the creative team that brought you the ground breaking Dear Friends-Music from FINAL FANTASY Symphony Tour, comes an entirely new celebration of video game music and images:

PLAY! A Video Game Symphony is a Symphony world-tour featuring music from blockbuster video games. The music is performed by some of the finest, world-class orchestras and choirs. All concerts take place in classy, prestigious venues. Graphics on large screens suspended above the orchestra accompany the scores, highlighting memorable moments from the video games.

ABOUT Esplanade Concert Hall

Esplanade's crown jewel is its elegantly-designed Concert Hall, which has been acclaimed by various performers from around the world. It features world-class acoustics designed by one of the world's most renowned acousticians, Russell Johnson........... There are only five other halls in the world with such state-of-the-art acoustics.

Tickets are going fast people!!!

Last i checked...

CAT1=S$70 for Saturday show...only got two tickets left...

I had to settle with the CAT2 option=S$60....going there with my family...

To the people who are interested in gettiing the tickets heres some advice...

1)Get it NOW!!!!
2) There is a SISTIC(The ticket distributor for PLAY)dealer here in Malaysia...its somewhere inKL Sentral...forgot the name...but what you do is...you order online first then you pick up the tickets at the authorized dealer.....its a better option than going there and getting the tickets there at the concert hall...
3) Get a good hotel near the concert hall...theres one right next to the concert hall itself but its kind off expensive.....but theres one hotel called the BAYVIEW,...its reasonably priced and its close enough to the music hall....

Also for all the guys who are not willing to shell out that much for the tickets you are a little late...

The lower end CATS(the seat categories) are all sold out but the secondary CATS are still being sold but are going very fast...the premium ones like CAT1 and CAT2 are sold out as well as the ultra exclusive box seats...

Also there is an early bird rate still in effect...i got my CAT2 tickets for about S$55 each but there are extra costs like getting it from the dealer, the booking charges and tax....it willl probably amount of S$59 or so for one person...if you dont get the early bird special it miight cost you a little more than what the website says it really is....but not by much...

Yep...nearly all CAT1 seats are gone... sad.gif

personally if i had not delayed myself in buying these tickets i would have got better seats...

But CAT2 has to be good .....for the price....touch wood tongue.gif

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS???

Just ask it here and i might help... nod.gif

Added on April 9, 2007, 3:58 pmAlright got an update from SISTIC..

CAT1 seats are nearly sold out...their seats are on the floor in front of the stage itself...

CAT2(mine) several seats are availible but going fast...these seats are behind CAT1 but is in a small balcony slighly raised above the ground by three or so feet meaning that your view of the concert is not obscured by the people of CAT1.

The CATS 8-10...unkown..meaning that i cant get a good status on the numbver of tickets left...on the SISTIC website it states its sold out BUT my guess is that there will be a few left if you order directly at the ticket counter ...but once again its just a guess...
