I plan to transfer the old 7 speed rd and shifter (from a 20" bike) + new 11t to 28t freewheel to the Trinx 1606.

Get a new 8 speed 11t to 32t freewheel + new 8 speed rd and shifter to the 20" bike.... hope all goes well.

For me. I always choose full gloves.
Because, I cycle mostly at night.

There are Many macam macam creepy flying insects & bugs, animals at night attracted by lights. Especially bicycle light.

Full gloves can brush off or fend off those venomous insects which can sting or bite without being bitten or hurting our fingers.

Second, I choose full gloves because can shield / protect our fingers in case of fall etc.

Is it the norm to have the rear brake on the right lever and vice versa?

I remember when i last ride bicycles, which was circa 20 years ago, its always right lever for front brake and left lever for rear brake.

im still not used to it.

Finally got a 20" K-12 foldie to add to my previous 16" one



This one has so much improvement over the FA-20 (16") in term of frame stiffness


oh, btw, i replaced stock saddle with selle italia gel, and changed back after 1 hour. damn, old age has caught up with me and cause many butt hurts


just realized it's hard to find knobby tires for the 20". the stock Maxxis (CST) tyres are too slippery for light offroad or sand or even just wet road. any suggestions? dont give me expensive tyres. my serious mtb days are over.

Seriously, the fa20 gearing is ok. I climbed bukit goram with it. Its the flex in the bb area that really irks me

Elsez the bicycle is fine. Even the cantilever brakes are adequate.

Newbie rider here. Plan to buy folding bike. Budget below rm2k.

After some research these 3 models shortlisted:

1) Camp foldx x-five
2) Java ira pro
3) Tern C8.

1 and 2 specs are quite good. Tern shortlisted because of the brand. Which 1 should i go to? Or any other model for consideration?

This bike i will use for ride in putrajaya (10-30km, road and lake ride) with my friends (MTB and roadbike)

My handle post is creaking. I’m still diagnosing where the sound came from. Must be from the folding mechanism area.. I have to grease it right? What grease you guys use for this type of application?

another storage idea for ur folding bike. its look like brompton shelf, but i custom the size to fit my zephyr or any 16” 349 bike (some of 406 compact folding bike also can fit)



its a combination of top pinewood, expanded grill and iron works. i made 2 set of it and can stackup above each other but only used 1. another 1 my wife already kidnapped it and put at the kitchen act as island bar 🤦

but..... 20"x1.5 = 20"x1-1/2"

and it's smaller than 20"x1-3/8" = 20"x1.375
or the 1.5 = 1.5cm ?

i was wondering the 1.5 is it cm or inches?

if inch, then 1.5" = 1-1/2"
