Different country, different policy. What's more the "hantu" wanting to get a piece$..
Don't forget many international factories set foot in Bangkok, of course Thai government needs to improve these network infrastructure better.

look at number of customer lor... more than total number of malaysian population. Even singapore telco cannot compete eg Singtel 12GB ~RM230++

Hard for us to compete with Thailand or Singapore, or even Indonesia. Because instead of all the money is used for upgrading infrastructure, many leaks into cronies pocket.

Look at their network spectrum.

They removed 2G services and focus on 3G onwards.

Hence the cost was offset with also the number of Subscribers.

Our problems is the spectrum allocation and red tapes

yeah wait till they introduce single internet gateway like china. now they're controlling the media..

this is what their junta is proposing

"The Bill on the Protection and Promotion of Media Rights, Freedom, Ethics and Professional Standards provides for a government-appointed national media council to regulate all media platforms – print, broadcast, or online. It also subjects anyone who directly or indirectly earns income from reporting news to the public without a license – and their company, agency, or organization – to up to three years in prison and a 60,000 baht (US$1,715) fine.

“The misnamed media rights and freedom law is the junta’s latest attempt to increase government interference and control of any independent news reporting,” said Brad Adams, Asia director. “Passage of this draft law would mean that reporters in Thailand will be constantly looking over their shoulder at a government-appointed panel that can have them jailed.”

and in 2015 iinm they wanted to create single internet gateway like china and they might do it again

"The country needs a single internet gateway to cope with "information attacks" launched from other countries, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwon insisted on Wednesday. Gen Prawit...

Ya.

jual data kat malaysia mcm jual dadah. tak perlu murah sangat sebab rakyat akan tetap menagihnya. fight sikit sikit sama competitor cukup.
