 Disable onboard RAM

Hi , I have this laptop which its motherboard has in built 4GB RAM. i suspect the in built RAM has issues (it keeps give me BSOD). Before i send my laptop for repair, just wanna know if there is a way to disable the onboard RAM ? Thanks.

does it even have a ram slot for external ram?

is it even possible to have external RAM? or is there some sort of ribbon cable that extends the ram slot to outside of the laptop which in return would make it redundant.

There is no such thing as external RAM. In this context, my RAM is "built into" the motherboard. There is no way you can pull the RAM out. I have the extra RAM slot in addition to that build in RAM.

Do a full format on the laptop, to clear out any software error possibility.

Run below stress test program to see which hardware cause error
Also run HWMonitor to see if overheat or something.

CPU - Prime95
RAM - MemTest86

Some brand like Sony also have built-in diagnosis software
