One year ago, one Ice person complained about share markets in US N Msia like hell then, as if u needed to borrow money from her to invest....lah

But I just quietly invested with my own money ( not money borrowed from Ice ) , and one year later the return is kinda 100% ..

U just need to ignore the noise makers ...well many are here ..in fact...and move on ..

I think this is biasa in stock markets ..where good stocks could fall deep below their fair value , and it is up to value investors like us to buy them cheap after done some analysis , ya of course u could hear tonnes of so called market noises telling u to stop investing ..by providing u all the " fake " news and so on..

After all, we need to know our risk levels, whether we can stomach such risks ..and go ahead with our own resources , and stand up to the market noises..Know what we actually want and what we intend to achieve ....

Banks n BNM tightening of housing loans do affect the housing markets as a whole..

Banks can actually go after the " under water " properties that would depress the markets further..Anyway , this policy is not applying to Cyberjaya alone.

But for owner stayers..we just want to live a reasonable lifestyle of our own , despite whatever bad economy news out there..

Bad economy could be a good opportunity for many value investors out there.. to buy something that is really cheap , and hold on to it...

Whatever goes down , it would go up one day..generally speaking ..

Well, it means u can also shop elsewhere , if u hate Cyberjaya so much.. free world lah

I always consider IOI City Mall as part of Cyberjaya ..with lot of activities going on.

People stay near Putrajaya border do not really bother to draw a line ..i.e here is Cyberjaya n there across is Putrajaya one. After all , if u stay in Cheras..and u can claim Cheras is still KL , right ....?

We can drive along many lakes around Putrajaya/Cyberjaya and enjoy the fresh air over there.

Ya, u need to have strong mindset of your own .esp in Cyberjaya....else a person with weak mindset would probably seeing many ghosts in Cyberjaya laugh.gif coz it is painted as a ghost town ..

I had personally come across a piece of junk commercial land that was up for auction for many donkey years without any taker.

Eventually one co bought the land ( of course that decision to buy that land ..in the market sounded stupid at that time ), but now the land worth 60M or more. from 2M

Everyone has his own prefrence..some Chinese like Cheras ( jams ) a lot, for me ..it is good to escape from Cheras..

Whether Dengkil or Cyberjaya does not matter, only thing Cyberjaya is known for better security n safety..

Dengkil ..any comments or better than Cyberjaya, or security is bottom of priority ,maybe ?

Well, I bought Cyberjaya prop just for own stay..aka the lifestyle I prefer to live

When comes to investing for Appreciation of assets , I prefer another option whereby it is still " property linked" per se , but could appreciate about 50% in a year time..of course same as any other investments ..there will be risk involved, and I am prepared to take the risk.

Surely, the auctions intensely discussed by some here would not cause a Sub Prime situation in Cyberjaya....

As to interest rate hikes, the hikes apply worldwide , not just to Cyberjaya properties alone.

If u are a true investor , u could sense the expected hikes long time ago..either the info comes directly from Fed or read the news locally....aka most investors are well informed
