15km?...maybe from western-most section of cyberjaya. But from garden residence to IOI city only about 6 km via persiaran utara.
What do you think about future Cyberjaya, Realistic or Ghost Town

QUOTE(lowya @ Sep 5 2017, 06:12 PM) if they (the majority) do not have a job nearby, what are the reasons the majority choose to stay in Cyberjaya? According to Google Maps, the distance (based on several alternatives routes) to KLCC Main Parking Entrance at Lorong Kuda from the following spots:If jobs in Cyberjaya does not attract the MAJORITY & LONG TERM tenants to stay there, what does? I hope you know who are the MAJORITY residence profile first before your reply to avoid stumbling like previously. Cyberjaya (Putrajaya MEX Toll) 27-28km Shah Alam (Bukit Jelutong NKVE Toll) 29-33km Kota Kemuning (Kemuning Kesas Interchange) 33-35km Kota Damansara (Kota Damansara NKVE toll) 22-24km Puchong (IOI Puchong Jaya LDP Interchange) 22-24km USJ Subang Jaya (Kewajipan Kesas Interchange) 24-25km Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the average travel time from Cyberjaya to KLCC (and vice versa) is generally the shortest in comparison to the other spots, especially during peak hours. |

In conclusion, if it is not inconceivable for people staying in Puchong, Subang, Shah Alam, Kota Damansara, etc. to work in KL, why make an issue with Cyberjaya?

QUOTE(BEANCOUNTER @ Oct 31 2017, 04:17 PM) Speaking of which...certain stretch of bb roads also becoming arab street jor... I think around 25-35% shop lots along Jalan Bukit Bintang (from Grand Millennium Hotel to Jalan Pudu junction) are occupied by middle eastern businesses. Try walk along the road and you can get the feeling of being on a street in Amman, Beirut or Cairo. And one or more streets becoming cina mari massage street. Malaysia....truly asia......tourism board already forseen this encouragement 10 over years ago. By the way, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) is the largest shareholder of Pavilion KL (Desmond Lim 2nd largest) and also the owner of Fahrenheit 88. In Cyberjaya, the equivalent is Neo-Domain area a.k.a. Arab Town. Plenty of middle eastern businesses there. |

QUOTE(BEANCOUNTER @ Jan 15 2018, 12:06 AM) Sejati Residences (by Paramount Corp) is doing well too with 90% take-up rate.So much so that Paramount recently bought 70% stake in a company which owns a neighboring 41.41-acre land for RM149.7m (effectively paying about RM118psf for the land). https://www.edgeprop.my/content/1267077/par...dential-project |

QUOTE(New Klang @ May 10 2018, 11:40 PM) Likely. The following series of events may contribute positively to CBJ future.1. HSR cancelled 2. Bandar Malaysia project to be reviewed 3. KL Internet City (KLIC) project, i.e. the services hub of DFTZ*, in Bandar Malaysia may be reviewed as well 4. Jack Ma is coming to town to meet Tun M in order to keep DFTZ project alive (read here) 5. Tun M may ask Jack Ma to relocate the services hub of DFTZ from KLIC Bandar Malaysia to CBJ 6. With CBJ hosting the services hub of DFTZ, it will attract Alibaba, Lazada and numerous other e-commerce companies to this city. Note: *As of now, the two key components of DFTZ (digital free trade zone) are (read here): i. fulfillment hub (in KLIA) ii. services hub (in KLIC Bandar Malaysia) This post has been edited by MO1: Jun 11 2018, 09:45 AM |

QUOTE(peri peri @ Aug 9 2018, 09:45 AM) Soon serving "ghosts" (must be a quite well-to-do kind) in cyberjaya...Village Grocer (with Village Cafe) will open at Tamarind Square Cyberjaya on 16 August 2018 (next Thursday). It was reported the outlet occupies floor area of 50,000 sqft...the biggest Village Grocer of all, I think. https://scontent.fkul3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1...0b9&oe=5BF9E0ED https://scontent.fkul3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1...4e9&oe=5C0D135E https://scontent.fkul3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1...9ca&oe=5C127286 https://scontent.fkul3-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1...d6f&oe=5C0D473C https://www.facebook.com/mycyberjaya/ This post has been edited by MO1: Aug 10 2018, 04:57 PM |
