that's why lelong is toilered for other investors nia. they bought bcos they think ROI will be good. Nobody (or very little) will buy lelong for strictly own stay de......you cant inspect the house and many hidden cost, plus need larger capital.

Not compare to studio, studio different target market, unless 2b/3b more people will buy.

Our country majority have family and atleast 2 children.

i dont agree lelong is a jackpot..thats why lelong got much lower price..its already calculated in the price..its either u know what u doing or not..same to lelong, undercon or subsale..

How u buy the house without see the inside?

How u know what the other expenses will be later?

Other outstanding u need to pay? (Some bank cover the outstanding, not all the bank)

Thats why i call it like lucky draw or jackpot

For lelong units:
Yes, the "unknown stuff" is the risk. But is how you mitigate the risk.
The risk is smaller when you buy those new completed units VS another project already more than 10 years old.
Generally from outside exterior view, can expect what will be the inside unit condition. That's the best you can do and you have make the decision how much is worth this "risk".

Here is an example. Puri Aiyu. Will you buy such unit at just 25% below bank value?
