Im using gtx 760 and will upgrade to better card later,

I wanna find a 144 hz monitor for gaming use with budget around RM1200-1700.

there are so much choices outside but some they say its for AMD some are for Nvidia and TN IPS and stuff are confusing me

Im being lazy to do my own research so can anyone can give me some suggestions before i walk into Lowyat Plaza? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

currently im using benq xl2411z 144hz tn panel monitor. everything is smooth and nice. i bought it around rm11xx. the cheapest 144hz currently iinm is acer (forgotten which model).

tn panel = 1 ms lag but color not so nice (only benefits those who play fps game)
ips panel = more than 1ms lag but color will be nicer (might be more pricey)

amd = free-sync tech (cheaper)
nvidia = g-sync tech (more expensive)

maybe u can try benq XL2430T.. 144hz (Freesync) with displayport.. color out of the box not nice, as usual for TN panels.. can try to look up for ICC profiles available.. and fine tune from there.. also depends on what type of games u play.. if the game for 1 round will have indoor and outdoor fights and u want to change profile with different brightness on-the-fly, this is the monitor for u.. if u are the one who just set one profile and use it for life, get the Dell S2417DG (1440p 144hz G-Sync).

FYI G-Sync = Nvidia
Freesync= AMD
