I hav owned my dv6126tx for 5 months dy...Quite love the design but has a quite irritating problem...The right side speaker always produces a kind of sound like "pit pit" which sounds like a farting sound...quite annoying especially listening to music! The weird sound goes off when i mute the speaker...I hav updated the sound driver n BIOS but the problem still persists...Really pissed off...Any ideas, anyone?? Really need to solve this problem desperately....

Well, for me, it is better to stick to window xp for now until Vista really stable with all the compatibility issue being rectified. Like me, I have winxp MCE but at the same time has the free Upgrade of Windows Vista Premium. I've tried both, and compatibility wise, i would recommend XP still. You can ask the person from HP to let u install XP instead of Vista. Good LUck~!

you can still configure the brightness on the power option there....i think the MAX brightness could 'kill' your eyes...
Btw..just wondering...normally you all turn on the computer for how long..?

oops..sorry..didn't menationed about it....you know...the weather is freakin' hot at these time....yeah...only ceiling fan applied in my room....C2D 1.83...yes...idle temp...while loaded...it could reach around 70.. issit normal..?
