Shining Tears is the successor of SEGA's console "Shining" game series like Shining Force, Shining Soul, Shining In The Dark and etc.

Shining Tears is not an eroge although it is true that Tony Taka did the character designs.

I have so much hopes since is from my first RPG, Shining Force but then the series IS really messed up.

I refused to believe it at first but when I watched till Ep4, this is really mess up. So many cut scenes.

Closing Ep3. King returns
Opening Ep4. King and neighbouring Princess being buddy buddy after they have been in war previously. No show nothing, terus just to King and Princess being buddies.

Dear God I can't believe I'm still watching this. I find the design for the girls, especially Kureha, to be hot, but am I glad its gonna end at episode 13. What happened to the possibility of it turning into a semi harem anime? Bleh. Anymore of this crap and I'll open my own veins.

Ah well at least I'll have the Kureha figure to keep me company come September.

this show storyline is not only badly paced , it is throwing everything into blender and mix them together , it just very bad . and worst still for such a beautifull and nice character design , there is no fanservice

I had to agree here. Luckily Shining Force EXA excels at what Shining Tears lacks (esp. in the gameplay department) which make it worthwhile playing. Kinda sad cos i like the females in Shining Tears better .

The game is in japanese, and yea I played it, and stopped at about half of the game. The game is pretty close to the anime, with some events changed, and you play as the other main char instead of the anime one. And I find it pretty repetitive which is why I couldn't finish it.

Anyway the anime is so crap it's funny to watch. The scene where main char shouted so where's my ultimate soul blade (or something like that) is so funny.

I'd rather killing myself slowly by watching Touka Gettan rather than this anime. At least Carnelian art > Shining Tears art (for my personal taste).

I couldn't watch past episode 3. Too lame for me, no matter how much i want to see moar of Kureha.

Kureha doesn't get much screen time in later episodes...don't bother to watch it, too lame but Taka Tony's character design is definitely one of the best out there.

Ending is urgh.

I did, like I said, it's so crappy, it's worth watching because it will be very funny. Its probably a show that I enjoy watching because of its crappiness, cheesiness.

My friend (2 friends actually) bought Kureha too. One of them didn't watch any Shining stuff but just saw Kureha and fell in love lol.

Should be arriving soon hopefully, from hlj.

Me and my bro had a lot of fun watching first 4-5 episodes, can't stop laughing how ridiculous it was, and when we didn't laugh we "omg" "wtf"...

In fact many people started PVC figure collection because of Kureha. Kinda remind me of Ignis.

i no idea about shining tears/wind either. The figure is just so darn nice. I preordered her the moment I saw her sculpt during summer wonderfest. Malaysia completely sold out during preorders.

My friends kureha's came. Wow for a 1/7 it is big as crap man. Very beautiful, only small gripe is that her face is a little slimmer than it looks on the prototype picture. However, its worth 80 bucks I think. Not that I'd buy it but I find it pretty good, the only bad thing is that the character itself is pretty shallow....

As for the game play??? SUCKS!!!!!

I love the Shining Force games but I dont like Shing Tears X Wind. I tried watching the first few episodes but there seems to be too many 'cuts' between the episodes. Jump here and there, like the storyline aint arranged very well.
