Im a new grab driver and im wondering if anyone could help me explain how the hourly guarantees work. Are they additional incentives ON TOP OF your fares or is it that if you are unable to get a certain amount according to the hourly guarantee they will help you top up? I just got my payout for driving 10 hours on the 30th September and I only received RM 30 so i dont understand how it works.

I drove well above 4 customers per hour for most of the day and was online from 1pm-11pm with no breaks except to go toilet now and then ..

As clarified by you helpful drivers.

- If your fare for the hour is less than the Hourly guarantee, the balance will be topped up by grab
- If your fare for the hour is more than the Hourly Guarantee , Grab will not be topping up any additional amount

no other details are given.

i calculated for tthe grab pro also but for rm 200 total fair for the day, isnt rm30 too low? I have no idea though

Anybody else annoyed by the fact that interacting with the job request forces GD app to come to foreground. Kanine always interrupt my waze and i have to spend 3-4 second to open waze again. If clear road nevermind. This one cibai when im in multi turn intersection end up take the wrong exit because my waze go to background.

But if i have accepted the job, i will still see the job when i dropoff my passenger. I dont mind the notification being on top of the screen, my problem is that after accepting then it straight away open GD app. Is it really necessary to open GD app after the job has been accepted?

My preference is that after i accept the job then it keeps my active screen as waze

I called GC about this. Apparently they sent the message to ALL drivers so if your phone stock android no need to worry. Just ignore the message.
