Had been tried to become flexi for 2 days. It is really super less stress than Ambasador!
Able to choose all high fares only and can see the cash, instead of waiting crap to calculate the incentives which duno how they calculate. Easy to maintain 30% AR also!

Only issue is fking grabshares + no surcharge due to promo.... 😒 gonna try another week see whether suit my timing or not (part time)

~Just to share my 3 weeks being flexi~

My schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri; 6pm to 9pm. and sunday if got some leisure time in afternoon, will do 3 hours

For me, I would think GA is better suit for my time.


-Yesterday is my most miserable drive ever in my life. drive 3 hour get 4 trips only = RM67. From 6pm to 9pm

-Then Monday 4 hours from 6pm to 10pm, only have RM137.

-Plus every time ended up very far from my house, need drive back empty hand.

-Plus petrol keep increase, I feel like long trip my petrol used up faster than when i doing GA.

-Incentive for 2 weeks also < RM20 only. GG.


I will change back to GA next week, and my experience tell me, just accept short trip during 5pm - 7pm. Then 7pm - 10pm sapu all save or get back the AR.
If got extra AR, use it for Friday.

Another note is, when ping come in, check on the pick up distance. If more than 1km, ignore. Experience alot of time >1km actually quite far already and if short pick up distance, i can maximise my "working" time.

I have family and fierce wife, so no choice. If I am single now, i sure drive whenever i got time instead of playing DOTA at home like lastime.

For flexi i think you need to view it as Average/hour for a day. You cant view it as peak hour you can earn how much. Cause for non-peak hour, you got the flexibility to earn more than the hourly guarantee. ie: if you opt for GA, most probably you need to accept most of the ping cause online full hour. And I tried this when non-peak hour during GA last time, mostly all <RM15, ended up 1 hour around RM30 - RM40 max. But if you are flexi on non-peak time(P block for afternoon session), you can easily choose high fares which total can be >RM34.

Since i part time only, i need rely on hourly guarantee if not waste my time doin part time.

Ya I totally agreed with you and this was my practice previously. Thought flexi might get better but ended up not suit my timing.
