3 color boot screen .... u can try ... hold ur DPad down arrow then do a soft reset ...

hi, i bought my Zinc last month and upgraded the ROM in a weeks time..
I am a doctor and i bought it mainly to ready PDB files which i have in plenty..i installed the required ISilo and other readers but the PDB file don't seem to open at all.. i even tried it after converting the files with isilox..anybody haas any idea why this problem is there in Zinc? i got friends here who are reading the files using other O2 models...reply would be of great help.. thanks

PDB files? wat s/w r ur frens using btw?
did u do a soft reset after u installed the s/w? it works sumtimes..

need help with my o2 zinc, having prob with receiving mms, i hv check with o2 that i have the lasted rom & with my services provider that everything should be working as it should be, but i still can't receive mms, sending & web browsing itz ok ????

i have the same problem...i can receive mms but cannot send mms??

i using wm5 is it really problematic wif wm5?

but i'm using wm6, i heard that they alrd fix the mms receiving bug in the latest rom.....but it still failed

well i think u hv 2 go to the center to check the setting ... last time that happen to me too

When I update rom on active sync,some reason my pc shutdown.Then I turn my device on but my device's screen show:

MARSII EBOOT Ver2007071120056
H/W Version V1.4
************ USB Loader *********
DiskOnChip G4 128MB
start downloading image
Please plug-in USB Cable
AC ADAPTER/USB CABLE PLUGIN


And stuck in there(bootloader)?
Please ... help me everyone or mods!.

Or show me detail the way I update rom zinc from minisd(card).Thanks everyone and mods once again.

maybe u can use the miniSD bootloader mode ...

-copy the MarsII_G4.ABI to ur miniSD
-Plugin ur wall adapter/charger
-Do bootloader (Hold Right DPad & do Soft Reset)
-See the updating progress in the 3 color screen
-dev will reboot back afterwards

been using it 4 almost a week now .... i can say it is pretty good
but i am using the Lite ver .... no WinLive

another ques..me sms is acting weird..i din change anything in the options lately n i din install anything on the zinc or on the memory card..but here's the thing..

when a new sms comes in..its always placed under the first sms (an earlier sms on the list of sms)...regardless of me deleting the first sms on the list..a new sms will always go under watever is on the first on the list..

i hv tried soft reseting..but..hmm..doesn't seem to work..besides that i hv oso tried like sorting the sms in a diff way..u knw r..u hv several options of hw u 1 2 sort ur sms..like by subject or date..things like dat..i hv tried changing the options..but still..it makes no diff..

any idea guys?

that is weird ... i havent encounter that kind of prob ... maybe coz of the time of the sms? i can receive that kind of sms if my cousin frm indonesia sms me ... since their clock is 1 hr late than our ... other than that no prob

hmm..but me nt frm diff time zone..all smses frm M'sia

Long time no see.

Need a quick question here, using Official WM6 ROM here, just upgraded to the latest one (cause of the MSN Contact List bug), anyways, what is the best software to install to enable Japanese and Chinese viewing (on SMS and etc).
