tldw version: dude doesn't train legs anymore because of his (allegedly) superior legs genetics make his legs grow big too quickly. this actually leads to him having a hard time finding the right fitting pants. he also thinks having too big pair of legs actually distracts from his upper body (aesthetically speaking).

i'm still new to bodybuilding (only 5 months) but damn i wish i have this problem. sweat.gif

I have friend who has thunder legs. His whole family has those. Calves are born big. That includes his 7 month old son. So he doesn't train his legs.

I also have problems with buying pants. The thigh just cant fit so I have to alter them.

3 years 8 months now. Squat is my staple.

My waist = 30"
Pants = 30" cannot pull up after my calves
Pants = 32" can wear cannot sit cannot put things in my pocket
Pants = 33" can sit can put things in pocket and it will crush my balls when i sit
Pants = 34" everything can do except that i have big folded residue of the pants at the waist when u wear belt. No belt it will fall.

I'm not a bodybuilder, I got a fat thigh and huge calf. Although it make me unable to dress like an Instagram model or most of my rock and grunge idol, I just can't think of a reason why someone should skip leg day, except for injuries.

But in the end, I'm fat, overweight and got flabby tummy. While that guy, he's hot, lean and got a perfect body proportion, not to mention he got Youtube followers etc, so I guess you can listen to him. He definitely knew what he's doing.

Do you do ''ass-to-grass'' squats and how much you squat?
I suppose you wear 'M' size shorts and inner wear despite your massive thighs due to squats?

I go slightly below parallel. I don't touch my ass to my calves to achieve ATG.

Squated 152.5kg for 3x3 before. Doing different thing now. This week 127.5 for 5x4. Last 2 weeks 142.5 for 1x10.

Not yet to that point. But I have seen significant bulk on the quads from doing squats and from the leg press machine.

ATG squats don't give u giant quads, it builds your butt. Going slightly below pallarel will ensure hamstrings r stressed along w quads.

Anyone who squats will not be able to fit into those girl pants they r passing off as men's pant these days much less skinny jeans. Even with my old school 501s, I cannot bent over to wear my shoes.

The last 5 days I squat, 132.5 for 4 x 5. BW at 67.

When I was squating 152.5 3x3, my BW was 64.

Doing a different thing now. U would want to go back to the days I squat 152.5, but I have a bigger goal in sight. Red lining every week every session is just not going to work. Sabar. That 152.5 will be back...someday.
