As a current Peugeot owner, the following will scare anyone away.

1. High pressure fuel pump - RM 2-3K, kaput every 2-3 years.
2. In tank fuel pump - RM 1-1.5K, kaput every 4-5 years. No warning.
3. ABS sensors - RM 500-1K, kaput after 5 years. Can't engage parking brake.
4. Water temp sensor - RM 700-1K, kaput after 2-3 years. High temp warning.
5. O2 sensors - RM 400-800, kaput after 2-3 years. Engine Fault warning / loss of power.
6. Coilplugs - RM 200 each, kaput after 2-3 years. Early symptom - misfiring / engine fault warning / high FC. Serious symptom - engine will stall.
7. Multiple faults - low battery (below 11V).

French only can build / design / construct beautiful things. They don't care about reliability. Not their forte. Plus, they are also arrogant when proven right.

Whenever there is an Engine Fault warning, radiator fan will spin at highest speed. This will drain the battery flat or force the car into Economy Mode. Stupiak programming.
