Went to buy a micro sd card for my new SJ4000 action cam and the sales guy keep pushing me to buy the more expensive type (SanDisk Extreme Plus) which he says is more suitable for action camera, but cost almost double than normal micro sd card. Wondering can I just use the normal Class 10 (80MB/s) micro sd card since I'm probably just going to use it once or twice a year when I go snorkeling during beach holidays? Sales guy told me the normal type is useless with action camera and easily spoiled.

Just get a normal sandisk memory card it's more than enough. The seller just up selling you so he can make more. I am using this for my sjcam and it's bought from 11STREET seller.
Best of all this is my second one after warranty claim when the first microsd card locked out. The seller was quite good and efficient in helping me claim warranty, I just send back the faulty one and he would just send me another new one. Not sure why but sometimes the sjcam will lock out the microsd card into read only.
