Invest selangor is basically an organization under the state government that will assist everyone in selangor. when i say everyone, i really mean it. *sorry need to edit this part, everyone in selangor and everyone that wants to reside/do business/invest/open program in SELANGOR.

Initially it was formed to bring in investments into selangor. If you wanted to do business, or setup a factory here in selangor, or to open a learning school, they are the go to ppl.
Now that this has gone well, they are taking even more resposibilties and roles.

It is to the point, if the mpsj or mbsa garbage bin skips out on your house, they are now the go-to ppl. But i would't abuse this function yet.

If you wanna start a business, but u dont know how to, invest selangor is here to save tthe day.

For example,
If you wanted to open a tuition center, u don't know jack shit, u head on over to invest selangor, see an officer, tell him about your dreams and interest in setting up a tuition center .....say somewhere in selangor errrrrr subang jaya.
So u wanna open up a tuition center in subang jaya, u need licenses. Invest selangor will guide u thru which and what license u need, which officer to see. They will even suggest/recommend u some suitable locations, study your business model or help u create 1.

Or perhaps, if u already have an ongoing business/investment. say u already operating this small keropok factory in damansara jaya for 10 years. business doing so-so only but u really wanna expand. Then invest selangor is here to save the day. Go see them, tell them u already have ongoing business, wanna expand, then they will coach u and guide u through the proper channels. They will even hook u up with Matrade and Mida and discuss about your expansion plans.
So in a nutshell, it was initially intended for bringing in investments into selangor. but their scope has widened so much, they even help small time personal SME SOHO to setup training sessions and organize loads of stuff.
