Hey all, share please, the lenovo on-site experience.

I just requested on-site repair from them. They gave me a ticket number and said that the technicians will call me. Should I just bring to the service centre, would that be faster? I think mine is hard drive issue, definitely a faulty hard drive. bye.gif

just wait for the technical guy to call u la...dont waste time go to the service center you never know the service center keep stock the replacement part or not...

just wait lo... some one say all onsite sure hv NBD ma... haha.. laugh die me...

only DELL hv onsite NBD for all product if parts available...

HP onsite NBD wif pars available for COMMERCIAL unit.. consumer oso hv to wait n atur number

LENOVO.... only god know when their onsite arrangement... even their RMA department cannot answer us... they r short on hands

next business day... u r blessed... my penang dealer client waited 3days coz need wait KL send parts to them... then wait another 2 days for technician arrangement

so monday call friday only come...

tat a good news for lenovo user.... they hire more technicians in Klang valley de

UPDATE: The technician came and changed my hard drive. No Questions asked. So far so good, all done within 3 days after I contacted them on Live Chat.

those bad review all from same guy, the one we all know, always push dell products to highest level, even refurbish unit, other brand for him are shit biggrin.gif

Before the HDD died completely, I managed to enter Safe Mode and backed up some stuffs.
After that I tried to reset my entire windows, which kept getting stuck half way due to HDD failure, it did tell me that it couldn't erase my files bla bla bla..
Then I couldn't do anything to it anymore, can't even get pass Lenovo Logo when i boot up the laptop.

I wanted to take the HDD back, I asked him, but he said he can't cause SOP demands that he has to take all defective parts back. I understand he is just doing his job, there's nothing else I can do. But I am kinda scared though. shocking.gif

Onsite service fixed within 3 days is good.. much more faster than send to service centre for RMA.. thumbup.gif

Just sharing my experience last year with my ThinkPad. I contacted Customer Service to troubleshoot my ethernet port problem as it can't detect any cable although changed few cables. Customer service tried suggest a few options like reinstall driver but failed. They arranged a technician to come over next day from KL to Tampin and changed the motherboard.
I'm satisfied with the service. 😀
BTW ThinkPad has 3 years NBD service and definitely worth it.
