QUOTE(mrluno @ Feb 9 2018, 09:28 PM) This is going to be frustrating, but we don't have an estimated date yet unfortunately. (Also, we really don't want to give an estimated date and then fail to deliver). We will continue to push very hard with Maybank to have this reactivated. Thank you for the word of support. I hope we can get it back before CNY too. Thank you for this. We will continue trying our hardest with Maybank. Actually Maybank has frozen the account, so you can't deposit money into it no matter how you try. Whether via App/Cash Deposit/Bank Transfer, it will show an error message. Just to reassure -- even though the account is frozen, all your funds in it still remains safe and untouched. On what grounds are maybank (and also BNM surely...) keeping the account frozen? Illegal activities? Money laundering?

QUOTE(noleave @ Feb 20 2018, 06:23 PM) I'm actually extremely impressed with Luno's public communication skills. They basically said the same thing 13 times in the span of 2 months yet nobody seems furious about it except me. You have to give them credit when credit's due. Yep. They are really good with words. They need to cut the crap and sort it out soon.

QUOTE(davidsheng @ Mar 15 2018, 05:07 PM) Hi Aaron / MrLuno, Thanks for the answer. I appreciate that you've chosen to reply rather than skip the questions. I hope you keep it up. I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that the funds are inside the Maybank account, however you still have not answered the core of my question. (A) The funds are inside the Maybank account, but the account has been closed down(B) The funds are inside the Maybank account, but the account is frozen/suspendedIt's a simple either/or question. Please just pick either (A) or (B). Both carry vastly different connotations, and I believe we are owed this information at the very least. Looking forward to receiving your answer. Good luck getting your question answered. So far when difficult/straightforward questions are asked, you don't usually get a respond (selective answering).

In the span of 1 - 2hours the price in luno dropped and then out of nowhere the spread became 3k and the price shot up again. Tell me that's not price fixing...

QUOTE(TallJustin @ Mar 23 2018, 09:00 PM) Completely normal dehaviour, people are selling their BTC to RM because they know the price is inflated on Luno and this is the last chance to play the arbitrage. There will be kick backs along the way but it will meet RM34K soon enough possible within a day even. Once the price meets up with other exchanges people will sell their RM to BTC and move it off Luno for withdrawal elsewhere. I hope so dude..

QUOTE(SheepGeeks @ Mar 30 2018, 05:28 PM) Hi experts, I understand Luno is processing all the withdrawal but does the cashing in works now? I'm planning to deposit in my wallet since it's on the low side now. if you really want to continue using luno, you can buy from remitano and transfer the btc to luno. you can make some extra money with the arbitrage.
