Hey guys, kindly update us if transaction went through. I've heard luno is also delaying transfer of BTC and ETH to other exchanges because they notice a lot people sending out to (coinhako and remitano).

my friends transfer BTC > coinhako already 3 days still not reflected.

as expected here it is, they are trying to hold transfer out from luno.

hoping to help those who are stuck with luno, it is really not advisable to remit out of luno right now. at minimum you will be losing 300RM for every 1000RM you process.

how to take advantage of the situation? read below.

1. While withdrawal is not available, buy and trade ETH > BTC and BTC > ETH
case 1: when BTC is high, go buy ETH
case 2: when ETH is high , go buy BTC

i've been earning quite around 500rm now with 2000rm capital, just make sure to use the exchange instead of the quick buy to avoid the LUNO cut fees.

For those who buy during LUNO withdraw /depo issue ongoing
once LUNO announce that withdraw and deposit are fixed, you should SELL IMMEDIATELY, prices will go down to normal and you will lose 10 -20% value if you buy at ALL TIME HIGH ( when luno withdraw /deposit unavailable )

its gonna be fixed around end of january or 1st week feb.
happened last year too, they need to open new bank account.

yeah it's higher, the easiest explanation that i got is that. Luno is an exchange , exchange means price depends on the Buy and Sell demand from the users.

you can go to exchange > orders and see how much people are willing to buy and sell

not so soon, maybe end of February.
last year they fix the issue around march.

their old bank account also got frozen then opened a new one.

they are even using the same (almost) status updates from last years issue lol.

they announce when BTC is crashing down? hmm coincidence?

just my two cents, i wanna share this to vent off with the current situation.
i'm not so sure but i believe we've been played by luno. what happen is some sort of
"shorting" if anyone's familiar with stock trading.



1. Pause exchange at an all time high price
2. Sell stocks
3. Wait till prices goes down
4. Buy stocks for cheap
5. Open exchange again then sell for cheaper stock price
6. PROFIT???

it's just my assumption, but i can't really get it off my head. sorry for ranting here, i will be doing peer to peer trading from now on.

not yet active, but they already confirmed bank account released by IRB.
they are preparing the withdrawal and deposit soon.

Update - We continue to work to resolve this matter as soon as possible. The IRB has now agreed to unfreeze our account while it completes the investigation, and we are working closely with Maybank to have the account operational again.

We’ll send out wider communication via email, in the Luno apps and on social media once we can confirm the status of the bank account.

for sure the exchange is separated for africa and malaysia.
that's the reason why malaysia exchange prices are higher than others
because our exchange got frozen.

you have to declare your withdrawals from luno into your tax declaration.
i hope they can clarify and give more details about this,.

- base from this, YES. i believe this would apply you are accepting bitcoin or etc. as payment
for goods and products.
