If you wanna trade ETH, avoid Luno. Remitano and LocalEthereum do the job with lower spreads.

If you try other platforms, you can save in the long run though

KuCoin, Binance, Remitano (higher fee), Localbitcoins (better to sell since liquidity isn't as high as others). There are other international platforms but it's up to you if you wanna try them out. One of them allows you to buy stocks, ETF, etc so you don't need to go to any bank branch. No peer-to-peer trading for most though!

If you are interested, I can offer you a reflink to Binance (alternatively you can check it out in my red-text signature) which shaves off your trading fee (instead of none), and it being the most populous exchange in the crypto world. So you pay lesser in a way.

You can, it's via peer-to-peer. Basically you directly bank into the seller's bank account if you are buying, and vice-versa

Don't transfer now, because the fee is sky high. What I'd suggest is to either insta-sell it (it's a feature on the homepage) or insta-buy the remaining amount (same) and sell the rounded ETH on the Luno exchange. A small price to pay but at least it costs way lesser than transferring out of it.

Yes, there are aplenty. In fact, not just Malaysians, but others from different parts of the world too.

For foreigners, you can but it's not worth the hassle since there's gonna be conversion fees and additional hoops from wire transfers.

Last time I checked, was around RM38. Could have gone higher with current BTC price.
