1. What do you mean principle of ETH is at risk? What you risk is more likely the non-immediate liquidity of the staked ETH, so if you want to sell ETH immediately, you can't as you need to unstake it first, then wait a couple of days as they return it and you might lose some gains or not able to stem some losses due to that period.

2. It is more like KDI Save, you can withdraw the amount but it will take a day or two, then only you can transact that amount.

Hello friend,

Good day. Thank you for your kind response.
What I meant about the risk of losing principal is - say if I staked 1 unit of ETH, will I be losing that 1 unit (or partial unit) of the ETH being staked?

Or the risk is only the following:
Non-liquidity: I cannot sell the unit(s) being staked in a particular period of time?

Thank you smile.gif

1) Chances are no, unless Luno go missing or run away. They are regulated by BNM so chances of that is lower la in a way.

2) Nope, like FD, you can use the money you pledged until you break the FD. So, you have to unstake it first and then can use.

Sorry, its can't use the money you pledged until you break the FD. So, you have to unstake it first and then can use.

Just realised the mistake.

Hello was wondering if I already stake 100% of my existing ETH in Luno and decided to buy extra ETH coins. Will the extra coins automatically staked as well?

Or it will not be staked and sit under the wallet?

Thinking of signing up with Luno but their help centre doesn't cover this query: Is it easy, or even possible, to withdraw BTC from Luno to a self-custody cold wallet after buying it on the exchange?

Yes.
I withdraw btc i bought from luno to my trezor. No problem.
You need to answer a few questions when setting up the withdrawal, just answer them.

Just started crypto not long ago, and luna is the only platform I'm using. What amount you guys think I need to have before start using a cold wallet?

Lets say If I only have 3-5k, is it ok to use luna wallet only? Or online wallet not really safe no matter big or small amount?

Best recommend you use Cold Wallet no matter how, cold wallet is way safer than online wallet

HAHAH i did not realize that laugh.gif

For beginner & budget friendly, i would recommend Trezor One or Ledger Nano S Plus, personally I am using Ledger Nano S Plus to store ONLY BTC, so if you are investing on other coins, best you check on the manufacturer first.

P.s DO NOT BUY 2ND HAND hardware wallet, only buy from authorized seller and make sure the seal is intact when you received the hardware wallet. I bought mine from crypto bilis, local seller, trusted and authorized by the manufacturer.

There's basically no liquidity on Luno for BTC .

RM218,000 right now on Luno. Market value is RM225,000.

Never seen a difference this large. Buyers must be all of Hong Bao giving age.
