Currently I'm not under contract and paying RM149 for 10Mb/s for Unifi Lite (free upgrade from 5Mb/s few months ago) which comes with HyppTV Ruby Pack and STD20 Plan (600 minutes free calls).

I read about this Unifi Bonanza package and enquired through the hotline 100 about the 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza at RM139 which is obviously better than what I'm paying for and cheaper too but they said it's only for new customers and not for upgrade. In any case, was also informed that the pricing for 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza package will revert back to RM199 after 2 years.

Instead, they offered me to add-on RM10 to get the upgrade my speed to 30Mb/s and add-on another HyppTV Jumbo Pack. Contract would be for 2 years. If I take this up, it will increase my bills to RM159 (before GST), after GST would be close to RM170.

Do you guys think it's a good deal? Or would it be worth the hassle to terminate my current Unifi Lite package and apply for the 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza Package? I don't really care about the HyppTV package but would just want a better speed at a reasonable price.

For those paying RM139 for 30Mb/s Bonanza Package now, it is inclusive of STD20 (600 minutes free calls)?

Went to TMPOINT Taman TUTA JB for clarification on this but CS said all Unifi Lite(with or without std20) upgrades will pay rm139 n get 30mbps+Jumbo+STD20. This will be reflected in the first bill.

So, did you upgrade/change your plan?

RM139 for 30Mb/s with both Jumbo Pack and STD20? Are you sure bro? From what I have read from the members here and even confirmation from TM at 100, RM139 doesn't come with either Jumbo Pack or STD20.

Please show a screenshot of your order/subscription details.
Yet to see once my STB installation is completed. But will definately include Jumbo pack on top of the existing Ruby pack.
Hopefully I will get what the CS said.

If true, it will be the best package I have seen here so far since you're paying RM139 and get the following:-
30Mb/s internet
Jumbo Pack (Lite or Full?)
Ruby Pack
STD20

At the moment, I'm already paying RM149 for 10Mb/s Unifi Lite with STD20 and Ruby Pack. Only got an SMS from TM to upgrade to 30Mb/s and add-on Jumbo Pack (Full) at RM10 while maintaining STD20 and Ruby Pack.

Upgraded to 100 mbps a few weeks ago. TM supplied a router which is being kept as a spare since I am running AC88U. Weird anomaly - Speedtest drops over several days till the point my upload is faster than my download. Resetting the BTU solves this problem until it reoccurres again each time and always over a span of several days. Scratch head...

something weird i noticed on my 100Mbps

i restart router and few days without torrent, the speed can maintain at 100Mbps when i run speedtest
if i restart router and torrent, the speed drop to 60Mbps after one day... never can back to 100Mbps, then i restart router again it back to 100Mbps  blink.gif

i have repeated test the above scenario, only happen when i torrent... i try different torrent client, same problem  sweat.gif
i try direct download for few days, big files at least 10GB+ for few times, no issue at all

in fact i am not heavily using torrent, just leave few seed.. i tried with different router, the C1200 provided by TM and my own Asus router, same problem  doh.gif

Are you guys still facing this issue?

Experiencing the same problem ever since I've upgraded to 30Mb/s from 10Mb/s.

The strangest thing is the speed drop is very consistent every time it happened. It started at 30Mb/s, then after 1-3 days, it dropped to 20Mb/s then another 1-3 days, it dropped to 10Mb/s. Disconnecting and reconnecting with another new IP address will solve it i.e. speed back at 30Mb/s but over time it will consistently drop again.

I'm not sure what's causing it. Only minimal usage the last few weeks. Never happened before when I was using 10Mb/s.

my case only download speed drop, from 100Mbps drop til 30Mbps, and upload still can achieve 50Mbps... if i dont torrent, it will never drop at all for several days, if torrent, after one night, next day drop to 70... one more day drop to 50.... few days drop below 20...  bangwall.gif

Seems like you're still facing the same issue? Yes, my upload speed no problem as well. Only affects the download speed. Did you open a report with TM?

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Dec 17 2017, 11:33 AM)
Are you experiencing those speed drop when on WiFi or LAN cable?
*
Tested on both cable and wifi and it's the same. It's not specific to one device but rather the entire Unifi account as a whole. Not sure if it makes sense but when it dropped from 30Mb/s to 20Mb/s for example, it's like my Unifi package is only 20Mb/s. The speed is very stable at 20Mb/s only. No more no less. Same thing when it dropped to 10Mb/s.

Yes still facing this problem. If u find a solution pls update. Am traveling so can’t do anything bout it at the moment.
*
That's unfortunate. I was hoping you guys managed to solved it by now or at least an idea what's happening. I will keep you guys updated if I find out more but I have a bad feeling the problem lies with TM. Please keep me updated from your end as well.

This problem may be affecting more than just a few of us, just that people may not be aware if they don't constantly do a speedtest.

Thank You for reply.

Hi btfan, vez, chaos32

Did you manage to resolve the issue that speed dropped from 100mbps to lower speed after bit torrent?
I'm facing the similar issue, i'm using Asus AC68U router and frequently BT. If i re-connect to TM then the speed will be back to 105mbps.

I just logged a ticket to TM, they will send Technician over but i wonder what they can do....

Hey man. I am still monitoring it. Due to other reasons, I am unable to maintain the same IP for longer than 5 days. Have you tried turning off your QOS completely? Will update you guys if there's any changes.

Update to my UNIFI 100mbps issue:

TM came to my house and they noticed that i'm using Asus AC68U instead of TPLINK hence they don't know how to check the optimum setting, but they told me if for TPLINK we need to disable "NAT boost", i found for Asus below is that setting:

[attachmentid=9479108]

Also, the technician called their server side department to reset my 100mbps profile, they suspect the profile is not applied properly.

I have been using same IP for almost 48 hours and done almost 150GB BT so far speed still maintain at 110mbps.  rclxms.gif
So for those using Asus and having same issue, please check whether you have "NAT Acceleration" enabled.
*
Thanks for the update as well bro. I also have the same router. Currently the default setting for NAT Acceleration in the Asus is "Auto". Will give this a try.
