Recently just got the free upgrade from 30 to 50.
It is possible to downgrade back to UniFi Advance 30Mbps - Bonanza Campaign since its cheaper? |

QUOTE(tomastan4134 @ Nov 1 2017, 02:30 PM) the 2 year contract is to secure you cannot terminate. if you want terminate it. u need to pay that penalty. I'm planning to downgrade from 50 to 30. normally upgrade dont affect the contract. we are give them more money to earn. who dont want more money ? LOL Currently paying RM189 for 50mb, if possible to downgrade to 30 @RM139, I could save a lot. |

QUOTE(nuvi @ Nov 2 2017, 09:55 AM) Many here say not renewed. And I remember reading at the TM thank you surprise website saying there's no contract renewal. I remember reading that as well. That's why I'm wondering what service start date is. QUOTE(math @ Nov 2 2017, 10:02 AM) Do you change the equipment? If you change it previously during upgrading it will trigger new contract. If you're referring to my post.Nope, My equipment never change before. There was one time I had request change the btu was when it was struck by lighting 1 week after install (vip10 package) (I think was in 2012) QUOTE(LeonTan @ Nov 2 2017, 10:21 AM) yours is under thank you campaign (free upgrade) which no contract renew Ahh.. I see. Thanksthat date is most probably to let you know there is changes only if you are very worried, just contact 100 So it's possible if I were to request for the bonanza downgrade? QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 2 2017, 10:34 AM) That's not contract renewal date. You can always call CS to confirm your date and confirm not this one. Thanks frutie & everyone that replied to my post. My contract was refreshed when I got my Advance 30 in July 2015, complained to MCMC for unfair treatment in Oct 2015. Price was reduced and contract refreshed again in Oct 2015. I wanted to terminate my UniFi this year (around April) and asked when my contract will finish, he mentioned Oct 2017 but I didn't proceed and relocated it to my sister's house now. My free upgrade was in Feb 2017. |

QUOTE(yeelong @ Nov 23 2017, 04:29 PM) OK. Thanks. Was thinking if can cancel free calls then can save like RM 10-20 monthly. (Currently paying RM 189 for 30mb) See how end of the year goes. Will probably downgrade to unifi lite. |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Dec 7 2017, 02:01 PM) Yes, as far as I know there shouldn’t be any contract renewal for the Thank You Surprise upgrade. Perhaps can try contacting TM and ask how many months contract left for your account just to test them, if they tell you the same thing as what you see in unifi portal then can make a complaint already. Thanks.QUOTE(^Ware^wolf @ Dec 7 2017, 02:07 PM) Ahh.. Can contact them through Twitter. I'll give it a shot. Thanks |
