You can call and scold if it makes you feel better, but there's a contract you agreed to, so don't expect TM to be so kind-hearted as to just release you from that.

Can consider upgrading to 50mbps for 189 Bonanza price. That one you can just ask for, no need to scold. I'm on the 139 Bonanza which I feel is a better deal, but if you're already gonna pay RM179 why not add RM10 to get 50 MBps?

Did you even read my post? I'm saying that:-

a) I'm on 139 bonanza

b) He (who is on RM179 30 MBps) should call and ask to upgrade to the RM189 Bonanza 50 mbps.

Currently I'm not under contract and paying RM149 for 10Mb/s for Unifi Lite (free upgrade from 5Mb/s few months ago) which comes with HyppTV Ruby Pack and STD20 Plan (600 minutes free calls).

I read about this Unifi Bonanza package and enquired through the hotline 100 about the 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza at RM139 which is obviously better than what I'm paying for and cheaper too but they said it's only for new customers and not for upgrade. In any case, was also informed that the pricing for 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza package will revert back to RM199 after 2 years.

Instead, they offered me to add-on RM10 to get the upgrade my speed to 30Mb/s and add-on another HyppTV Jumbo Pack. Contract would be for 2 years. If I take this up, it will increase my bills to RM159 (before GST), after GST would be close to RM170.

Do you guys think it's a good deal? Or would it be worth the hassle to terminate my current Unifi Lite package and apply for the 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza Package? I don't really care about the HyppTV package but would just want a better speed at a reasonable price.

1. Better terminate ur unifi & reapply for Bonanza rm139. No penalty coz already out of contract

2. If u choose the bonanza plus i.e add rm10 to ur existing plan (add rm10 for 30mbps) so u need to pay rm159 monthly.

So for me ill choose option 1 for cheaper monthly commitment with the same speed of 30mbps

Option1 no free calls, optional add-on std20
Option2 free std20, hypptv jumbo.

take 1st regret later
btw you no need to terminate and apply again, unless you want new equipment
previously I also on VIP 5, then free upgrade to VIP 10 last year
early November just change to bonanza 30 mbps package

Do TM offer this upgrade to bonanza customer since the plan is call bonanza plus. Lol

trust me, those 100 and live chat talk different with TM point
I start using my unifi on December 2012, straight away went to TM point and ask for upgrade to bonanza 30 mbps, wait 2 days upgraded already
since your STB is broken then is up to you then
