Need someone to help me on this upgrade.

Previously VIP 5, after the free upgrade, now 10mbps (Rm149) per month.

Received sms say RM10 to upgrade speed. Called 100, confirm say Rm159 > 30mbps

Problem is saw the bonanza
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=Atta...post&id=9292899
if like that Rm139 speed is 30mbps and STILL cheaper than my current Rm159 if I accepted the offer.
But, I asked the 100 operator, says the bonanza already ended but she sounds so unsure about the whole thing. Really doubt her understanding about this matter.

What should I do?

TM ppl is pretty messed up honestly. Just now tried call again, operator say can take bonanza offer but need to terminate first.
IDK, need some opinion (see my sig please)

Already paid this month subscription (Autopay), even if I wanted to terminate, best wait till end of month or early next month. But, they tell me not sure how long this Rm10 offer runs...

FYI, your sig link leads to forum front page.

Anyway, the former is the better deal.

Fixed. Thanks.

Pretty much what I think. It's Rm139 for 2 years but I can save Rm20 for 24months. Who knows what after 2 LONG years? I can always goes back for 10mbps if nothing changes, well, consider if NOTHING CHANGES in 2 YEARS lol

Had a live chat with CS and being told only for new customer... guess have to call 100 ?
*
Clearly there's wrong with that statement but I'm happy if the Rm10 upgrade applicable for new user since I'm going to terminate and apply for Rm139 by early next month mostly because already paid for this month (Autopay)

Rm149 for 50mbps? Hopefully.

Possible.

Will be good to know if any non contract users got it.

If only contract ones, likely they want to bind further for some reason.

Well, since i m not on contract, not invited, can wait.

Anyway, will drop by tm point next week and see if they hv anything more to say.
*
My contract ended long time ago, still got the SMS.

Better terminate since no contract.
Register new, get all new device, with warranty.

Was thinking that. When Bonanza ends? This year I heard, hopefully they kept it that way.

You can call and scold if it makes you feel better, but there's a contract you agreed to, so don't expect TM to be so kind-hearted as to just release you from that.

Can consider upgrading to 50mbps for 189 Bonanza price. That one you can just ask for, no need to scold. I'm on the 139 Bonanza which I feel is a better deal, but if you're already gonna pay RM179 why not add RM10 to get 50 MBps?
*
You sure they will let you upgrade Rm10 if you're Bonanza? Have you tried asking for Rm149 > 50mbps?

Did you even read my post? I'm saying that:-

a) I'm on 139 bonanza

b) He (who is on RM179 30 MBps) should call and ask to upgrade to the RM189 Bonanza 50 mbps.
*
Did I offended you? Sorry if you think that way, I'm just interested in getting Bonanza 139 myself, so I'm curious whether they'll give Rm10 offer too.

Okay, I tried the Live Chat just now. It's a Total Garbage. Ask about Bonanza, all I get is "I don't know, ask TM Point" never mention 100 also, in fact I tried 100, some operator can give info but of course some don't
Also, cut me off when I still have one more question. mad.gif

Currently I'm not under contract and paying RM149 for 10Mb/s for Unifi Lite (free upgrade from 5Mb/s few months ago) which comes with HyppTV Ruby Pack and STD20 Plan (600 minutes free calls).

I read about this Unifi Bonanza package and enquired through the hotline 100 about the 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza at RM139 which is obviously better than what I'm paying for and cheaper too but they said it's only for new customers and not for upgrade. In any case, was also informed that the pricing for 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza package will revert back to RM199 after 2 years.

Instead, they offered me to add-on RM10 to get the upgrade my speed to 30Mb/s and add-on another HyppTV Jumbo Pack. Contract would be for 2 years. If I take this up, it will increase my bills to RM159 (before GST), after GST would be close to RM170.

Do you guys think it's a good deal? Or would it be worth the hassle to terminate my current Unifi Lite package and apply for the 30Mb/s Unifi Bonanza Package? I don't really care about the HyppTV package but would just want a better speed at a reasonable price.
*
If you're out of contract, just terminate and re-apply, I'm also paying Rm149 and that's what I'm going to do later

Hey guys, I'm thinking to go TM Point tomorow so I'm asking one last time what's the difference between these two plans. Need to fully understand or might make a mistake

My current plan:
used to be VIP5 > free upgrade to VIP10 > paying RM149/month

Offered +RM10 > 30mbps (RM159/month)

Interested in Bonanza RM139 and I'm no longer in contract

So what's the exact differences between the two? Pro and cons
RM159 vs RM139

imo...
1. Better terminate ur unifi & reapply for Bonanza rm139. No penalty coz already out of contract

2. If u choose the bonanza plus i.e add rm10 to ur existing plan (add rm10 for 30mbps) so u need to pay rm159 monthly.

So for me ill choose option 1 for cheaper monthly commitment with the same speed of 30mbps
*
We're on the same wavelength. But, is there any other differences like call plans and HyppTV?

Option2 free std20, hypptv jumbo.

Hmm...I dont really use the phone anyway plus my STB broke years ago. Guess it won't affect me if I turn down the offer and take Rm139. Same speed but less Rm20.

take 1st regret later
btw you no need to terminate and apply again, unless you want new equipment
previously I also on VIP 5, then free upgrade to VIP 10 last year
early November just change to bonanza 30 mbps package whistling.gif
*
I dont think it's possible not to terminate though. *see attachment
I also asked 100, it's the same answer, though it's much easier and logical to just migrate in my opinion. Plus, I can get a new STB to replace my broken one icon_rolleyes.gif

Do TM offer this upgrade to bonanza customer since the plan is call bonanza plus. Lol
*
That would be awesome. Anyway, I'll go to TM Point tomorrow, see how it goes. But, damn my nearest only open from 9am-1pm
Lazy as hell bruce.gif

trust me, those 100 and live chat talk different with TM point
I start using my unifi on December 2012, straight away went to TM point and ask for upgrade to bonanza 30 mbps, wait 2 days upgraded already whistling.gif
since your STB is broken then is up to you then biggrin.gif
*
Yup, it's broke. I'll just grab a new STB then, worst I could think of probably no unifi for 1-2 days or maybe more, idk lol

My opinion on this matter,
-RM10/month deal is real
-speed upgrade is real
-HyppTV Jumbo pack is real but limited to 1 year only, after that you'll need to pay additional cost if you wanted to keep the package (it does say HyppTV Jumbo worth RM720 and Jumbo Pack is RM60/month)
-price remains the same after two year is also true

I guess there's no need to panic, or they might already told when you decided to subscribe RM10 Bonanza Plus, just no one seems to care either being too excited or TM simply forgot to tell.
